Policy
Privacy.
Short version: you can read, search, and RSVP here without an account, we do not ask for health information, and nothing on this site follows you around the internet.
Draft for review. This describes how the site works today, and the wording has not been through legal review yet.
What we do not collect
Inclusive Connections is not a clinical service and this site is not a patient portal. We do not ask for, store, or want protected health information.
- No diagnoses
- No medical records or therapy notes
- No medications
- No insurance member IDs
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies
Browsing without an account
You do not need an account to use this site. The directory, the events, and the resources are all open to read, and you can RSVP to an event without signing up for anything.
There is no public sign-up here at all — nothing for a visitor to create, and no visitor password to keep track of. The only accounts on this site belong to the people who run it, and they are described further down.
What we do collect
Only what you type into a form and choose to send us: your name and email if you contact us, your practice details if you apply to the directory, or your email address if you ask to hear about what is coming up.
An event RSVP asks three things — a name, an email, and how many people are coming. There is no free-text box on it at all. If there is something you need us to know before an event, the contact form is the place for it, because a person can actually answer you there.
How we use it
To reply to you, and to run the thing you asked about. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with providers or sponsors.
Admin and volunteer accounts
Accounts do exist on this site, but only for the volunteers and administrators who keep it running — approving a listing, publishing an event, checking people in at the door.
Those accounts are created by an administrator, not by signing up. Passwords are hashed and never stored as plain text, and signing in sets a session cookie so someone stays signed in while they work.
Photography at events
We take photographs at community events and use them on this site. When an event has a photo and video notice, it is on the event page with the rest of the access details. Either way, you can ask us not to photograph you or the people you came with, or ask us to take an image down.
Questions
If you want to know what we hold about you, or you want it deleted, email inclusiveconnectionsnwa@gmail.com and we will sort it out.
